Controversial passages of the Bible
Then it makes it possible to:
A) The original teaching and message can be more easily understood.
B) Let's avoid heresies caused by the inaccuracy of translations.
C) Let's avoid many even bitter doctrinal disputes between believers.
D) It is easier for someone without faith to become a believer in the Bible.
E) Many more people can be led to salvation.
According to the Bible, this can be achieved by:
A) Prov. 30:5-6 >>5 Every word of Elohim is purified; he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him. 6 Do not add to his words, lest he reprove you, and prove you to be a liar.<<
B) Deut. 4:2 >>Do not add a thing to what I command you nor subtract from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Yehowah your Elohim that I am delivering to you.<<
C) Rev. 22:18-19 >>18 I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, Elohim will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, Elohim will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.<<
Does the Bible tell about such crimes?
Unfortunately, it tells of falsification, additions to its text, and even invalidation of the original teaching:
A) Acc. to Tanakh: Jer. 8:8 >>How can you say, "We are wise! We have the law of the Yehowah"? The truth is, those who teach it have used their writings to make it say what it does not really mean.<<
B) Acc. to NT: Matt. 15:3-6 (Adonai Yeshua accuses the Pharisees and scribes)
>>3 He answered them, "And why do you disobey the commandment of Elohim because of your tradition? 4 For Elohim said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.'
5 But you say, 'If someone tells his father or mother, "Whatever help you would have received from me is given to Elohim," 6 he does not need to honor his father.' You have nullified the word of Elohim on account of your tradition.<<
This is why this blog is necessary
In my blog, I take a close look at the major controversial teachings that are commonly found in various Christian and Messianic Jewish communities.
After we find the reasons for the errors I mentioned and why they are harmful to the spiritual growth of believers in Adonai Yeshua, the apostolic teaching will come out more cleanly!
I try to point out to the readers, in my opinion, clear forgeries and even additions in the Bible, which appear in other passages on the same topic.
The first of these is: What was the original water baptism and how was it performed?
Here is the link to the topic:
